Tofu, also called bean curd, has long been used in many Asian countries. It is a soft, white, custard-like food with a mild flavor. Tofu comes in many varieties, from soft to extra-firm. It is a great source of protein and calcium and also a good source of iron, phosphorus, and B vitamins.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup cooked Rice (suggested: mixed Grain)
- 1 can of prepared fried bean–curd (brand: Orchids)
- 1 tea spoon sesame oil
- 1 tea spoon soy sauce
- 1 tea spoon rice wine (brand: Mirin)
After cooking the mixed grain rice, mix with sesame oil, soy sauce and rice wine. Stuff the Rice mixture into the Bean-Curd pouches (from the canned product).
