Inarizushi–Japanese Food

Inarizushi is known as brown bag sushi. Sushi rice is packed in seasoned aburaage (fried tofu) pouches. Inarizushi is easy to eat.
Tofu, also called bean curd, has long been used in many Asian countries. It is a soft, white, custard-like food with a mild flavor. Tofu comes in many varieties, from soft to extra-firm. It is a great source of protein and calcium and also a good source of iron, phosphorus, and B vitamins.
Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup cooked Rice (suggested: mixed Grain)
  • 1 can of prepared fried bean–curd (brand: Orchids)
  • 1 tea spoon sesame oil
  • 1 tea spoon soy sauce
  • 1 tea spoon rice wine (brand: Mirin)
Instructions:
After cooking the mixed grain rice, mix with sesame oil, soy sauce and rice wine. Stuff the Rice mixture into the Bean-Curd pouches (from the canned product).
